Dr Lucy Hope is a registered midwife, academic leader and researcher with extensive experience across clinical practice, higher education and health research.
Since qualifying as a midwife in 2002, Lucy has built a career dedicated to improving maternity services through evidence-informed practice, collaborative leadership and education. Her work spans clinical care, research, curriculum development and academic leadership, bringing together these disciplines to improve outcomes for women, babies and families.
Alongside her academic leadership roles, Lucy has maintained a strong commitment to research that addresses real-world challenges within maternity care, ensuring that evidence is translated into meaningful improvements in practice rather than remaining solely within academic literature.
